Elmira man faces felony weapons charge in Schuyler County after being found with billy club

Deputies report the arrest of an Elmira man following an investigation in Schuyler County.

Michael Raymond, 41, was arrested on October 6th and charged with third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, as a felony, as well as aggravated unlicensed operation and other traffic tickets.


The charges stem from a vehicle stop where Raymond was found to be in possession of a wooden billy club.

He was arraigned and will answer the charges at a later date.
