There was a two hour lockdown at Wells College on Friday.
Officials say it was prompted by what turned out to be a non-credible threat of a shooter.
The person who reported the incident to law enforcement was inside their vehicle on campus when another vehicle pulled up and a person inside made a comment about shooters.
The campus was deemed safe two hours after the report when no threats were found on the college.
