Police: Canandaigua man charged with harassment after slapping person

Police report the arrest of a Canandaigua man after a warrant was issued following a disturbance.

According to a news release, Daniel Bebout, 44, of Canandaigua was charged with harassment.

The disturbance occurred in late-August on Saltonstall Street.

Bebout is accused of slapping another person.

He was taken into custody and will answer the charges at a later date in local court.
