The Rochester Red Wings rallied to defeat the Buffalo Bisons, 7-4, on Saturday afternoon at Sahlen Field.

Rochester trailed 4-3 in the top of the eighth inning when Nick Banks smoked a game-tying RBi single. Jack Dunn immediately followed that with a two-run ground-rule double to give the Red Wings a 6-4 lead. Rochester tacked on another run in the top of the ninth on Adrian Sanchez’s second home run of the season, and Zach Brzykcy closed it out.

Jake Alu contributed earlier in the contest with his 11th long ball of the season. John Nogowski added a sacrifice fly, while Sanchez also had an RBI groundout. Five of the nine starters in the lineup recorded two-hit games.

Patrick Murphy allowed two runs over four innings of work on the mound for the Red Wings.

Rochester will try to secure a series win on Sunday at 1:05 p.m. in the final road game of the 2022 season.
