Governor Kathy Hochul will offer opening remarks at the National Women’s Hall of Fame 30th Induction Ceremony.
The ceremony, which will be live-streamed on YouTube, is taking place at the Smith Opera House in Geneva, New York.
Hochul will be joined on stage by Secretary Hillary Rodham Clinton, Honorary Chair of Induction and keynote speaker.
This weekend’s events honor Octavia E. Butler, Judy Chicago, Rebecca Halstead, Mia Hamm, Joy Harjo, Emily Howland, Katherine Johnson, Indra Nooyi, and Michelle Obama.
“Governor Hochul has been a long-standing and strong supporter of the National Women’s Hall of Fame and our efforts to lift women’s voices and stories,” said National Women’s Hall of Fame executive director Jennifer Gabriel. “We are honored that the first woman to serve as Governor of our great state will join us in celebration of these exceptional women.”
Tickets for the Induction Ceremony are available via the Smith Opera House box office. The livestream link is also available via the Hall’s webpage at womenofthehall.org.
