The town of Seneca Falls is seeking bidders or proposals to purchase 24-acres of land on Cortland Avenue.
The property extends from Cortland to California avenues and is served by municipal water at each street. Sewer lines would need to be extended to service the property, according to the Town.
The goal is to seek redevelopment proposals that would provide the best long-term impact to the community.
Neighborhood impact, job creation or economic impact, sustainability, best possible use, and purchase price will be the criteria the town uses to evaluate potential buyers.
Submissions and/or proposals must be submitted by September 30 at 5 p.m. They must be turned in to the Town Clerk’s office.
A brief narrative that outlines the proposed use is required.
