The Rochester Red Wings edged the Lehigh Valley IronPigs, 2-1, in 10 innings on Thursday night at Frontier Field. With the victory, Rochester has won the first three games of this six-game series and four straight overall.
The Red Wings trailed 1-0 going into the bottom of the eighth inning when John Nogowski crushed his fourth home run of the season over the left-field wall to tie the game.
After Alberto Baldonado held Lehigh Valley scoreless in the top of the 10th, Jecksson Flores scored on a wild pitch to give Rochester the walk-off win.
Franklyn Kilome started on the mound and tossed five shutout innings while allowing just two hits and two walks. The right-hander also struck out seven batters.
The week-long series continues on Friday as the Red Wings look to secure a series win. The first pitch is set for 6:05 p.m.
