Yankees snap three-game skid with win over Angels

The New York Yankees snapped a three-game skid with a 7-4 victory over the Los Angeles Angels on Tuesday night in Anaheim.

Jameson Taillon started on the mound and allowed a pair of runs over two innings before leaving the game with a right forearm contusion.

The bullpen did a solid job as Greg Weissert, Lou Trivino, Ron Marinaccio, and Jonathan Loáisiga all had scoreless appearances. Lucas Luetge and Wandy Peralta each surrendered a run.

Aaron Judge crushed his Major League-leading 51st home run of the season to lead the offense. Andrew Benintendi and Anthony Rizzo also went deep.

Gerrit Cole will get the ball on Wednesday as the Yankees will try to take two of three from the Angels. The first pitch is slated for 9:38 p.m.
