According to a release from the Nation’s representatives, Cayuga Nation Police Officers arrested a man on an outstanding warrant and one additional charge on Sunday around 8 p.m.
Cayuga Nation Police arrested Jason John (alias Papito de Koda) on an outstanding Cayuga Nation Tribal Court warrant, the Nation’s representatives revealed on Monday, August 29.
The suspect was arraigned before Tribal Court Judge Joseph Fahey at approximately 11 p.m. on Sunday, August 28 at the Cayuga Nation Tribal Justice Center, which is located on State Route 89 in Seneca Falls.
John was arraigned on an outstanding warrant and the additional charge of resisting arrest for allegedly striking a Cayuga Nation Police Officer.
The suspect was remanded to the Cambria County Prison in Pennsylvania until his next court appearance, said the Nation through its representatives.
