The Rochester Red Wings fell to the Indianapolis Indians, 9-1, on Friday night at Victory Field. With the loss, Rochester has dropped three of the first four games in the six-game series.

Franklyn Kilome made his seventh start of the season with the Red Wings and allowed six runs (four earned) on five hits over four innings while walking five and striking out two. Luis Avilán followed Kilome in relief and tossed two shutout innings. Curtis Taylor recorded the final six outs while allowing three runs.

John Nogowski drove in the only run of the game for Rochester with an RBI double to left field in the top of the fifth inning. Aside from that, the Red Wings had just four hits.

Rochester will try to snap their two-game skid on Saturday. The first pitch is slated for 7:05 p.m.
