Phelps, MVP Health Care and National Fitness Campaign (NFC) announced a partnership to bring a free, outdoor Fitness Court® to The Phelps Community Center located at 8 Banta St., Phelps. The Fitness Court is scheduled to open this fall with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The MVP Health Care Fitness Court will provide the community with increased access to outdoor exercise programs.
The MVP Health Care Fitness Court in Phelps is a result of a partnership between MVP Health Care
and NFC to expand free access to high quality workouts for communities around the state. The Fitness Court is a free, open-air wellness center that allows users to leverage their own body weight to get a complete workout. Created with people aged 14 and over – and with all abilities – in mind, the workouts are adaptable for all fitness levels and allow users to move at their own pace. Users can also download the free Fitness Court app, which acts as a coach-in-your-pocket and transforms the outdoor gym into a digitally supported wellness experience.

Construction of the Fitness Court has begun and is scheduled to be completed in early September.
The ribbon cutting and challenge event will be held on Saturday 09/10/22 @ noon located at 8 Banta Street Phelps.
