State police identify woman’s remains found in Morris

Troopers have identified the human remains found in the town of Morris earlier this month.

The remains of an adult female were positively identified as Laura L. Rous, 38, of Otego.

On August 11, State Police asked for the public’s help in identifying the remains of an adult female found in a remote area of Morris, Otsego County.

They said the deceased woman was roughly five-feet tall and found wearing Adidas jogging pants, a pink top, a lightweight black jacket with a pink zipper and boots.
