Another weekend of baseball in the books, and once again it was another tale of two different weekends for the Mets and Yankees. The Mets handled business against the Phillies, taking two of three games in Queens. Paul Russo and Kyle Evans discuss the series and how the smack in the mouth on Friday night seemed to set the tone for the rest of the weekend. In Boston the Yankee offense struggled and couldn’t help what ended up being a solid pitching weekend. Paul and Kyle talk about the continued struggles on offense. The guys also discuss comments made by Isiah Kiner-Falefa’s family and the ongoing trouble Yankees’ fans cause with new players.
Rochester and Syracuse wrapped up their weekend with different degrees of success. Rochester ended the week in a true split with Norfolk while Syracuse dropped the series to Buffalo. Paul and Kyle talk about the continued roster shuffles between the teams and what is ahead for them this week.
