Deputies took a Seneca Falls woman into custody after a disturbance on Saturday.

According to a news release, the Seneca Falls Police Department arrested Mariah R. Dunham, 29, of Seneca Falls for obstructing governmental administration.

When officers arrived on scene, it was determined that a male was experiencing a mental health emergency and needed to be transported to the hospital. Dunham intentionally interfered physically to attempt to prevent officers from taking the male to the hospital.

Dunham will appear in Seneca Falls Town Court at a later date.
