The Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office made a second arrest related to the 2021 theft of two trailers and six snowmobiles from a storage lot in Venice.

Amy Graham, 49, was arrested on Thursday, August 11 on the charge of Grand Larceny in the third degree, a Class D felony.

Police say Graham was located and brought into custody by State Police on Wednesday, August 10 and then turned over to the Sheriff’s Office.

The Grand Larceny investigation began in December 2021, Cayuga County Sheriff Brian Schenck reports.

Tyler Hulslander, 27, was arrested and charged with Grand Larceny in the third degree on January 14 of this year.

Police say that attempts to locate the second suspect failed. A warrant was subsequently issued for Graham’s arrest by the Town of Venice Court on June 17.

The Sheriff’s Office says it worked in conjunction with the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office, the Chenango County Sheriff’s Office and New YorkState Police during the course of the investigation.

Law enforcement was ultimately able to recover four of the six snowmobiles stolen as well as both trailers, in addition to identifying Graham and Hulslander.
