Ontario man violates order of protection, displays firearm

An Ontario man was arrested following an investigation into a family trouble complaint.

According to a news release, the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office arrested Lance E. Plaza-Pierce, 31, of Ontario for criminal contempt, criminal mischief, menacing, and endangering the welfare of a child.


The domestic disturbance occurred at Brown Square Apartments in the Town of Ontario. It is alleged that Plaza-Pierce kicked the door of a residence, causing damage. He then displayed a firearm at a female victim in the presence of a child., During the incident, he was in violation of an order of protection.

Plaza-Pierce was remanded to the Wayne County Jail to await arraignment.
