The Syracuse Mets were shut down by Jacksonville Jump Shrimp, 4-0, on Friday night at NBT Bank Stadium.
Syracuse had just five hits with two coming from Nick Plummer.
Nate Fisher started on the mound for Syracuse and allowed three runs over 4 1/3 innings.
Jose Rodriguez surrendered the lone run in relief. Alex Claudio, Trevor Cahill, Yennsy Díaz, and R.J. Alvarez had scoreless outings.
The Mets will try to bounce back on Saturday with Connor Grey on the bump. The first pitch is set for 6:35 p.m.
