Seneca Falls Convention Days to host first-ever youth event this Saturday

Seneca Falls Convention Days will host its first-ever youth event this Saturday.

“Participants will be immersed in the past, present, and future of the gender equality activism through discussions about the ERA, a presentation and vote on the 2020 Youth Declaration of Sentiments, and conversations about the future of social justice,” said organizers in a release.

The First Presbyterian Church at 23 Cayuga Street in Seneca Falls will host the event. Registration for the program begins at 8 a.m.

Students ages 12 to 15 are welcome to a free bagel fest. Lunch coupons are available for a sandwich, chips and fountain drink at the Downtown Deli.

The program is provided by the Greater Rochester Area Branch of American Association of University Women, WomenMarch Seneca Falls, Women’s Institute for Leadership and Learning, Inc., First Amendment, First Vote, The Seneca Falls Presbyterian Church and the Girl Scouts of Western NY.
