Police are investigating a string of commercial burglaries that happened Saturday in the city of Ithaca.
Around 6:37 a.m. officers received a report of a burglary at the Satellite Auto Glass store. Officers responded and found that an undisclosed amount of crash had been stolen. An exterior door was also damaged.
At 7:41 a.m. officers responded to the Fraternal Order of Eagles for an attempted burglary. It was determined that an unidentified subject attempted to break in to a building earlier without success.
Less than an hour later police received a report that On the Street Pitas was burglarized.
Later in the day, ABC Oriental Rugs and Warehouse Carpet were also burglarized.
Most of the businesses are located along, or near, Cecil A. Malone Drive.
The incidents are all being investigated. Anyone with information about the string of burglaries is asked to contact IPD.
