All three of the Yankees’ runs came in the first inning. Gleyber Torres opened the scoring with a two-out RBI double to right. Later in the inning, Josh Donaldson and Torres scored on a wild pitch to make it 3-0.
Baltimore scored both of their runs in the sixth.
Donaldson had a two-hit game and extended his on-base streak to 24 games.
The Yankees go for the four-game sweep on Thursday afternoon with Jordan Montgomery on the bump. The first pitch is slated for 12:35 p.m.
