GIRLS LACROSSE: Pal-Mac races past Penn Yan, 8-2

On a dreary evening at Mustang Field in Penn Yan, the visiting Red Raiders came out victorious in a battle of two strong Finger Lakes teams. Pal-Mac jumped on the board first, almost 10 minutes into the game on a goal from Jenna Santelli. Penn Yan would answer shortly after with a goal from senior Kaley Griffin. Pal-Mac would add the final marker of the half with 5 minutes remaining to take a 2-1 halftime lead.

In the second half, the rain stayed away but the Pal-Mac offense did not. The Red Raiders outscored the Mustangs 6-1 in the final 25 minutes resulting in an 8-2 victory. The game completes the regular season schedule for both teams with Pal-Mac touting a 12-4 record and Penn Yan finishing with a 9-7 record.
