After a very active weather day for the Finger Lakes and Central New York on Monday- the Storm Trackers Team says things will remain calm for the next 48 hours.
In fact, things will also remain ‘below average’ for daily high temperatures. But it won’t last for that long.
Clear skies and temperatures in the 60s will be standard for the next two days, but then the heat will rebuild into the Finger Lakes.
By Thursday and Friday temperatures will push toward- and eventually past- 80 degrees.
By the weekend there will be a risk for some strong thunderstorms. At this point, it’s far too early to tell what that will look like, but the Storm Trackers Team says they are watching it closely.
