Deputies report the arrest of a Lindley man in Steuben County following an incident last week.
According to a news release, Matthew Embree, 28, was found by deputies- after they received information that he was wanted in Chemung County.
He was found at his home, and when deputies attempted to take him into custody- Embree resisted. He was placed in the police cruiser, then called for another person to come and shoot officers at the scene.
Then once transport began, Embree escaped through the window of the vehicle, and resisted arrest again when deputies took him back into custody.
He was charged with second-degree escape, criminal mischief, making terroristic threats, resisting arrest, and obstructing.
He was arraigned and held on $500 bail.
