Who is eligible?
The summer SNAP program will help kids from low-income families purchase food during the summer, since they won’t have access to school lunch. The benefit will be granted to children who receive free or reduced lunches during the school year. Read more about it here.
SNAP is a state run program, which means that each state will have their own eligibility requirements. If your state determines that you are eligible for SNAP benefits, you will get them dating back to the day you submitted your application.
