An article by the Consumer Product Safety Commission announced Amazon is recalling their school chairs.
Due to a fall hazard.
It is possible that the weld on the frame of these chairs to fail.
Causing whoever is using them to fall.
These chairs are made with a plastic seat and chrome-plated metal legs.
They were sold in sets of six.
And included the following colors
- Red
- Pink
- Yellow
- Purple
- Lime Green
- Blue
There are around 22,400 units affected by this recall.
They were sold online at amazon.com.
From January 2019 through January 2022.
So far there have been 55 cases of these chairs breaking.
There have been no reported cases of injuries.
If you have purchased these defective chairs stop use immediately.
Then contact Amazon for a full refund.
And directions on how to dispose of them.
