On a special edition of Inside the FLX, congressional candidate Vanessa Fajans-Turner joins host Ted Baker in studio. Vanessa is running in the newly redrawn 22nd district in New York as a Democrat. A product of Central New York, Vanesa is native of Ithaca. Ithaca will now lay in the newly redrawn 22nd district which will also include portions of Cayuga, Schuyler, Seneca and Tompkins counties.
Ted and Vanessa will discuss her decision to run in the newly redrawn 22nd district. Vanessa will also share her backstory and how her trailblazing experiences led her to this point. She will talk with Ted about the biggest issues within the newly redrawn 22nd district including agriculture, climate, the economy and education. Vanessa will also talk with Ted about some of her other interests outside of her congressional campaign and their impact on her within the campaign.
