Accompanied by two drones and encouraged by a cheering crowd, Bryson was the latest in a long line of area notables who have taken the Tyrtle Beach plunge into the chilly water of the small lake, located just east of the Village of Bath.

Bryson chats with WVIN radio personality Dave Taylor Smith, the first Tyrtle Beach jumper.

The event has raised more than $740,000 in its 31-year history.
