Yankees complete three-game sweep of Orioles

The New York Yankees completed the three-game sweep of the Baltimore Orioles with a 10-5 victory on Thursday afternoon at Yankee Stadium

Jameson Taillon got the start for New York and surrendered a pair of runs on seven hits over 4.2 innings while striking out four and walking one.

Miguel Castro, Wandy Peralta, Jonathan Loaisiga, Chad Green and Lucas Luetge all recorded scoreless appearances in relief. Ron Marinaccio allowed three runs in the ninth and recorded just two outs.

Baltimore jumped out to a 2-0 lead with a run in the second and a run in the third.

The Yankees scored four of their 10 runs in the fifth to take a 4-2 lead. Marwin Gonzalez put New York on the board with a RBI double to left. Aaron Judge tied the game with a RBI single to center. Anthony Rizzo put the Yankees on top with a RBI single to left. Giancarlo Stanton capped off the inning with a RBI single to center.

In the sixth, Gonzalez picked up his second RBI of the game and extended the lead with a sacrifice fly to center.

Josh Donaldson made it 6-2 in the seventh with a two-out RBI single to left.

The Yankees put up another four-spot in the eighth. Tim Locastro scored on a wild pitch and Aaron Judge crushed a three-run home run to left to extend the lead to 10-2.

The Orioles scored three in the ninth with back-to-back RBI doubles and a RBI single.

Judge and Rizzo each had two-hit games.

The Yankees will head to Kansas City to begin a three-game series with the Royals on Friday night. Nestor Cortes will get the ball. First pitch is scheduled for 8:10 p.m.
