Police say a Sodus woman was arrested following a fraud investigation.
According to a news release, the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office arrested Martha Fish, 40, of Sodus for grand larceny and welfare fraud.
It is alleged that Fish was a recipient of temporary assistance benefits and failed to report income she was receiving. This led her to receive over $1000.00 in benefits that she was not entitled to.
Fish is due to appear in the Town of Lyons Court at a later date.
