A relatively new traffic circle in Victor was shut down for a few minutes after a driver failed to negotiate it properly over the weekend.
On April 15 around 9:15 p.m. Sam Mina, 70, of Rochester was traveling west on Route 96 in Victor when he approached the traffic circle at Lynaugh Road.
He failed to navigate it- and drove through the median.
The vehicle then struck a traffic sign and the vehicle came to rest, partially blocking traffic.
The traffic circle had to be shut down for around 15 minutes while crews worked the scene.
No injuries were reported.
