We’re excited to announce the return of the spring book sale. Held in the Malone Room at the library, the sale opens to the public on Thursday, April 21st and concludes on Sunday, September 24th. Sale hours will be Thursday from 9 am to 7 pm, Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, Saturday 10 am to 3 pm, and Sunday from Noon to 3 pm.
Cash is accepted, and credit cards will be taken for purchases of $5 or more. Sunday is bag sale day and visitors can fill a reusable grocery tote with books for the bargain price of $3.
Thanks to a generous gift from the Friends of the Victor Farmington Library, anyone who visits can purchase a reusable VFL shopping tote for just $1. For more details about the sale including prices, and up-to-the-minute developments, please visit the library’s website.
The Victor Farmington Library thanks all of the volunteers who donated countless hours to make this important fundraiser possible, as well as they many individuals and families who donated books in support of the spring book sale.
Due to space limitations, the library stopped accepting donations of used books in good condition for this sale on Saturday, April 9th at 4 pm. If a larger library is approved on May 17th, additional storage space will allow VFL to accept donations for more of the year and increasing the fund-raising potential of twice-a-year and ongoing book sales.
