Emily Hawryschuk posted a career-high 11 points to lead the No. 4 Syracuse Orange (10-4) to a 20-9 victory at Cornell (7-5) on Tuesday night.
The game was tied 3-3 after the first quarter and 6-6 at the break, but the Orange outscored the Big Red 14-3 in the second half to secure the win.
Hawryschuk’s seven goals tie her career-high and her 11 points tie for second on Syracuse’s single-game record lists.
Payton Rowley, Natalie Smith and Meaghan Tyrrell each recorded a hat trick.
