When is the deadline to claim the payment?
Eligible taxpayers who didn’t get the payment or may be due for more can still claim it. It can be claimed on your federal tax return by the April 18 deadline. Read more about it here.
Most of the third round stimulus payments were automatically deposited into the taxpayers account or via mail in the spring.
The payments were calculated last year based on your most recent federal tax return. If income or family size changed in 2021, you may be eligible for more money.
The third round stimulus checks are up to $1,400 per person. Individuals that earn less than $75,000 of adjusted gross income annually, head of households who earn less than $112,500, and married couples earning less than $150,000 are all eligible for the full amount. The payments gradually phase out as household income increases.
