Mackenzie-Childs Warehouse Sale returns after two-year COVID-19 hiatus

After a two-year COVID-19 hiatus, the popular Mackenzie-Childs Warehouse Sale returns later this month.

The Citizen reports the Aurora home décor company announced the return of the sale Tuesday. It will be Friday, June 17, and Saturday, June 18 from  8 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day. In a news release, the company said the sale will include overstocks, seconds, and other as-is items, as well as furniture, rugs, seasonal products, and enamelware. “We are thrilled to be able to reopen the doors to our annual Warehouse Sale for the first time in three years. In-person shopping events have always been an important opportunity for us as a brand, allowing our customers to peruse products and interact with each other,” said John Ling, CEO of MacKenzie-Childs.

All sales will be in-person, as no shipping is available. Shoppers will be eligible for a 20% discount at the Mackenzie-Childs outlet store in Aurora.

The annual Mackenzie-Childs barn sale, which has attracted as many as 20,000 patrons in the past, has also not been held since 2019 due to the pandemic.
