Pretty soon Americans using food stamps will be able to use their SNAP benefits online through one of the largest retailers, Target.
42 million Americans throughout the country use food stamps.
SNAP benefits are used for things like produce, meat, canned goods and other foods.
Target has been accepting food stamps for awhile, but their accepting of them online is new.
Extra benefits in these 14 states during April
Now, SNAP recipients can purchase food through Target.com.
This will make shopping at the retailer more accessible for everyone.
Using food stamps online
Walmart and Amazon have been taking SNAP benefits since 2019.
There are now many retailers that accept benefits online, according to The Sun.
