State Police say a quadruple shooting in Williamson last week was not a random act, and that the parties involved knew each other.
News 10 NBC reports four people in all were involved in the shooting incident on Pearsall Rd. State Police say two 17-year-olds and an 18-year-old forced their way into the residence while a fourth suspect, an 18-year-old, remained outside. Troopers say the suspects were wielding multiple weapons and were met with resistance by the residents of the building in what appears to have been a robbery attempt.
Two of the suspects and two of the residents were injured in the shooting. One of the residents has since been released from Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester. Investigators believe the people involved knew each other. They say the suspects are from Rochester.
State Police are continuing their investigation.
