Police say a Manchester man was arrested following an investigation into a sex crime.
According to a news release, the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office arrested Derek Towndrow, 31, of Manchester for criminal sex act.
Investigation revealed that in June 2021, Towndrow engaged in sexual contact with another person who was physically helpless and incapable of giving consent.
Towndrow was remanded to the Ontario County Jail.
