The Syracuse Orange women’s lacrosse team (8-2) cruised past the Temple Owls (7-2), 22-7, on Saturday evening at the Carrier Dome.
Syracuse jumped out to a 7-2 lead after the first quarter and never looked back as they outscored Temple in every quarter.
Meaghan and Emma Tyrrell combined for 18 points and 10 goals to lead the Orange. Sam Swart, Emily Hawryschuk, Jenny Markey and Natalie Smith each scored twice in the win.
Kimber Hower stopped three shots and picked up the victory.
