The Buffalo Sabres announced Sunday that they have traded defenseman Robert Hagg to the Florida Panthers in exchange for a sixth-round pick in the 2022 NHL Draft.
The sixth-round pick originally belonged to the Calgary Flames.
The Sabres now have 10 picks in the 2022 draft, including three in the first round and two in the sixth round.
Hagg, 27, recorded eight points (1 goal, 7 assists) in 48 games with Buffalo this season. He also posted team highs in blocked shots (91) and hits (97), and led the team in penalty-kill minutes.
