Police say a Seneca Falls man was charged following investigation into a taxi business.
According to a news release, the Seneca Falls Police Department charged Timothy A. Anderson, 29, of Waterloo with permitting operation of an insured vehicle operating for hire.
Police initially stopped one of the taxi vehicles after observing an expired inspection sticker. Upon investigation, multiple traffic stops were conducted and it was discovered that Anderson’s employees were operating multiple vehicles without a proper registration, along with not holding proper insurance coverage required to transport people.
Anderson will appear in the Seneca Falls Town Court at a later date.
