The Syracuse Orange women’s lacrosse team (4-0, 1-0 ACC) defeated Notre Dame (1-4, 0-1 ACC), 17-16, in overtime on Saturday night at Arlotta Stadium.
Meaghan Tyrell scored the game-winner and helped the Orange pick up its first ACC win of the season.
Emma Tyrrell led Syracuse with seven points (4 goals, 3 assists). Emily Hawryschuk also scored four goals and Megan Carney netted three.
Kimber Hower made five saves to earn the victory.
