Authorities are continuing an investigation after a shooting at a Newark bar over the weekend.
On Saturday, around 1:30 a.m. deputies and investigators were called to Tommy Boys Bar and Grille in Newark.
A person had been shot in the lower extremities in the parking lot. According to investigators, the shooting happened after an apparent confrontation.
That confrontation started inside the bar, then moved to the parking lot, where the shooting occurred.
The victim, who has not yet been identified, was airlifted to Strong Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Mercy Flight transported the victim to Strong Memorial Hospital.
The investigation remains active, according to deputies.
