Police say an Ithaca man faces a number of charges after a traffic stop on January 19.
According to a news release, Raymond Kamila, 31, had several warrants out for his arrest- including one for a ‘violent felony’.
The 31-year-old was stopped at the dead-end of Renwick Heights Road. That’s when officers say Kamila refused to get out of the vehicle for approximately five minutes.
Eventually he complied and was taken into custody without further incident.
Kamila was charged with attempted burglary, attempted assault, endangering the welfare of a child, criminal mischief, criminal possession of a weapon, criminal tampering, and harassment.
He was arraigned in Ithaca City Court, then remanded to the Tompkins County Jail.
