Buffalo man faces several charges in Wayne County after skipping court

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Buffalo man on a bench warrant issued out of Williamson Town Court.

According to a news release, Jesus Rivera Martinez, 31, of Buffalo failed to appear on previous charges related to aggravated unlicensed operation, false inspection sticker, unregistered motor vehicle, as well as other traffic violations.

He was taken into custody in Erie County, where the bench warrants were discovered.

Rivera was turned over to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office upon his release from custody in Erie.

He was transported to the Wayne County Jail and will appear in local court at a later date.
