The precipitation that started as a cold rain last night transitioned to all snow Sunday morning in the Finger Lakes and Central New York.
The National Weather Service has a Winter Weather Advisory posted for everyone. While the initial risk was mixed precipitation and/or ice – the primary threat moving forward is snow and icy roads as temperatures drop into the upper-teens into the overnight.
Rural and secondary roads could be slick from overnight precipitation. Now though, two more rounds of snow will move through the region.
