The Victor High School contended with a threat on social media Monday.
However, it was dealt with before any lockdowns or early dismissals were necessary.
In recent weeks countless schools have entered various levels of lockdown, lockout, or hold in place procedure due to threats online.
Superintendent Timothy Terranova said it involved a student who made a threat on social media.
The student was secured and before anything happened- the Ontario County Sheriff’s Office was involved.
Officials and law enforcement say they don’t believe any other students were involved.
