One mask mandate that’s been in place since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic is the federal mandate for mass transit riders and Schuyler County residents are reminding the public that it’s still in place.
The county has extended its own mass transit mask mandate through next March. WETM-TV quotes Schulyer County Mobility Manager Dave Moore as saying “The FDA provided signs. We placed the signs all the buses near the passenger entrance living better to know the master required on the bus.”
It will be up to bus drivers to remind passengers about the mandate and to provide masks to riders who don’t have them.
