Whether you’re in Western or Central New York the forecast this week is much calmer than this past weekend.
Temperatures will continue to rise throughout the week, according to forecasters with the National Weather Service.
Breezy, unseasonably warm weather will mean abundant sunshine and a lack of heavy rain. There will be a chance for showers by mid-week, but nothing that looks too intense at this point.
Forecasters say the next weather system worth watching arrives late-Thursday.
Cloudy skies this morning will give way to sunny skies by the afternoon. Temperatures remain mild and above average for this time of year. Winds will still be breezy with occasional gusts up to 20 mph. #nywx #pawx pic.twitter.com/KPQS2s9wIp

Nice weather to start the week with relatively mild conditions through Thursday. Strong cold front later this week will send temps lower and possibly bring some gusty winds. Timing late week showers and wind and colder pattern on News10NBC Today. pic.twitter.com/CXzXl5CjLI
