Key Bank in Sodus robbed

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a bank robbery at the Key Bank on West Main St. in Sodus.

On Wednesday at approximately 1:30 p.m., a white male dressed in blue windbreaker type jacket and wearing a “Halloween” style mask, entered the bank and demanded money from the tellers. He is described as being approximately 5’ 6” in height, and in his early thirties in age.


The male left the bank on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash, and reportedly left the area westbound on Main St driving a low riding silver car with a damaged passenger side headlight. A passenger, described as a heavier set female in her twenties, was also observed in the getaway vehicle.
