A Penn Yan resident faces several charges after a domestic incident.
Police arrested William Hatch, 49, of Penn Yan following a domestic incident in the village.
Police say Hatch physically attacked another person, subjected them to unwanted physical contact, and impeded their breathing by choking them.
Further investigation revealed that Hatch also damaged furniture and personal belongings during the incident.
He was charged with criminal obstruction of breathing, criminal mischief, and harassment.
The charges will be answered at a later date.
